Service Description

The Labor and Birth Education Course is a Series of 4 - 2 Hour Classes. $250 / per couple. This is in- person learning and training. Some of the topics covered in class include; anatomy of the female pelvis, stages of childbirth, stages of labor, positive feedback loop, effacement and dilation, your baby's station and why it's important, breathing techniques, labor positions, partner supported labor positions, birth and peanut ball positions, using a rebozo or birth sling, troubleshooting issues and interventions, induction of labor, how different movements effect labor and pushing time, when to start pushing, how to breath while pushing, pushing positions, the delivery of your baby, the delivery of your placenta, immediate postpartum, and so much more...
